Creative Cardboard Projects Made Simple

Terms of Use

Last updated: October 5, 2026

These Terms of Use apply to your use of Cardboard Crafts (“the site”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

What the site provides

The site publishes free tutorials, project ideas and technique guides about cardboard crafts for general information and personal enjoyment. We work to keep the instructions clear and accurate, but we do not promise that every tutorial is free of errors or that you will get a particular result by following it. Cardboard varies in thickness, stiffness and condition, so the measurements in the tutorials are starting points to check against your own material. Time estimates are approximate.

Safety and your own risk

Cardboard crafting uses sharp and hot tools. Craft knives, scissors, metal rulers and glue guns can cause cuts and burns. The tutorials are written for adults, and you follow them at your own risk. You are responsible for using your tools according to their makers’ instructions, for working on a suitable surface such as a cutting mat, and for keeping tools and small parts away from children. Children should only take part under close adult supervision, and an adult should do all cutting and hot gluing.

Cardboard is flammable. Keep finished projects away from candles, open flames, stoves, heaters and hot lamps, and use battery lights only where a project includes lighting.

Projects on this site are intended for light, dry household items and for decoration. We give no load or safety guarantees. Do not use a cardboard project to sit, stand or climb on, to hold heavy, valuable, hot or wet items, to store or serve food, or as a toy for young children, and do not rely on one in any situation where a failure could cause injury or damage.

Using our content

Unless stated otherwise, the text, illustrations and design of the site belong to Cardboard Crafts. You are welcome to:

  • read, print and use the tutorials for personal, classroom, library or other non-commercial purposes;
  • make any project for yourself or as a gift, and adapt the size and design however you like;
  • share a link to any page;
  • quote short passages with a clear credit and a link back to the original page.

Please do not republish whole tutorials or illustrations, sell them, or present them as your own work without written permission.

Boxes, trays, frames and other common forms are not anyone’s property, and anyone is free to make them. Our rights relate to our own written instructions and illustrations, not to the general ideas behind them.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site. This includes attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with how the site works, sending spam or unlawful content through the contact form, or copying the site in bulk by automated means beyond what is needed for normal search engine indexing.

The site links to a small number of third-party reference pages that we think are useful. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, Cardboard Crafts is not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from your use of the site, from following its tutorials or from using anything you make from them. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
